HBO Max’s releases of the week didn’t bring many interesting news, but Missing and Shadows of the Night are worth keeping an eye on
Lacking some pacing, HBO Max has added some interesting releases to the what’s new list for the fourth week of June. Streaming has focused more on series with weekly episodes, such as The idol, Spy/Master AND superman and lois. Despite this, some titles stand out. there is between them Night shadowsa fantasy film, released in 2012, directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp.
The plot follows the life of Barnabas, a playboy who, after breaking a witch’s heart, is turned into a vampire and sentenced to spend two centuries trapped in a tomb. When he finally wakes up, he sees his property destroyed and seeks revenge.
Being another example of Burton’s gothic style, the film has a great chance to please fans of the genre. In addition to him, the long is also worth keeping an eye on Missingwith Storm Reid (from euphoria AND The Last of Us).
In the work lives a teenage girl whose mother simply disappeared without a trace. To find her, the girl will therefore have to use all possible technology and discover the reasons that led the woman to disappear.
