This week it all kicks off here on TF1 (the series airs Monday through Friday at 6:30 p.m.), the teachers and students of the Auguste Armand Institute experience a tragedy: a train crash! To add to this intrigue, the series put small dishes into large ones using a special device.
AlloCiné was able to speak with Elsa Lunghini, Clotilde’s translator, on the set of this new disaster ark. The actor also told us what the consequences of this tragedy were for his character and his associates…
AlloCiné: What will happen in this new “This Is Where It All Begins” disaster story?
Elsa Lungini : A train in which teachers and students cooking food derails and the car falls! I am one of those who do not fall. Teissier (Benjamin Barochet, editor’s note), Leroy (Stephane Blancafort, editor’s note), Rose (Vanessa Demoy, editor’s note), and Clotilde (Elsa Lungini, editor’s note) will realize that the car is missing. They really don’t know where it is and understand that it has fallen very low… Then they wonder, first of all, who is in it.
Will there be mortality?
No… and I regret it! (Laughs) I would find it logical, it’s such a big fall… there are still injuries. The “survivors” will call for help, but it will be a while before we find the missing and know what their condition is. Some will not be in good shape…
Is this drama really random?
Yes. For once, it’s not because of me! (laughs)
Will this event have significant consequences for the rest of the plots?
The characters will have consequences, but it won’t be too long. Enzo (Azize Diabate, editor’s note) will have a real physical problem. Joachim (Iannis Abrich, editor’s note), he falls into a coma. Clotilde is also going to observe him in the hospital for a while. Ambre (Claire Romain, Editor’s Note) will also need significant grooming. In any case, not all of this damage will be irreversible.
Are we about to discover a new facet of Clotilde?
Yes, he is not just a cold, untouchable person. She is a loving and sensitive woman. It has cracks. Clotilda takes control and suddenly something makes her more fragile. In the context of such an event, anyone would find themselves in agony.
We can hardly maintain control, even if we try to maintain a certain level of calmness for others and not completely collapse. Clotilda doesn’t immediately know where her sister and her boyfriend are, and this clearly upsets her. Then seeing the injured students is also a shock.
How was Stefan Blancafort’s guest appearance on “This Is Where It All Begins”?
Great! I didn’t know him at all, but Benjamin Barochet, yes. He told me the greatest kindness about him. He is adorable and very believable in his role. For those of us who have been here a long time, it’s always nice to have a new face and new energy around. We’re always a bit worried about who’s going to come down, or if the chemistry is going to take it… there, it’s nice because Stephen is pretty sunny!
