Barbie: Margot Robbie reveals secret of high heel scene

Barbiefilm directed by Greta Gerwigonly hits theaters in July, but excerpts from the trailer have already gone viral and impacted the public on social media. Margot Robbiethe main interpreter of the doll, revealed the tricks behind the high heel scene – when she takes off her shoes, but her feet follow the shape of the object.

The detail did not go unnoticed by fans, who praised the directorial attention of the feature film. Although it is a live-action production, the film seems to honor, at all times, its source of inspiration: the Barbiea perfect plastic doll.

In an interview with fandango, Robbie pointed out that she herself participated in the scene. Also, only eight takes were needed until the material was satisfactory.

It’s my feet. On the floor were sticky stickers so I could get my feet out of the shoes without them moving. I was holding a barbell, and that was it.
