Returning old Marvel characters to the stable comprehensive Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe isn’t to everyone’s taste. Former Netflix Marvel series headliner Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, returns to the scene in Spider-Man: No Way Home and the She-Hulk series.

“Now that the MCU has taken the character, they’re really hurting him. If you look at She-Hulk, they’ve turned Daredevil into a cartoon. It’s all done with special effects, it looks bad.”

The latter promised fans that the new version of Daredevil will not be sanitized. Marvel’s upcoming series about Hell’s Devil’s Kitchen will have a dark and violent tone — perhaps not to the level of the Netflix version — but it won’t be “cartoony.”
But we’ll have to wait to find out, as production on “Daredevil: Born Again” is currently on hold due to the writers’ strike in Hollywood.
