Nicolas Cage almost played Dracula in this iconic video game adaptation!

In the horror comedy “Renfield”, which was released in theaters last May, Nicolas Cage takes on the mask of the famous Count Dracula. But did you know that the American actor, who already played the amazing vampire in 1990, could play the character in the adaptation of the cult video game a few years ago?

Taking to his Instagram, director James Wan, the man behind the Saw, Insidious and Conjuring sagas, recently revealed that Nicolas Cage was very close to playing Dracula in his helmed adaptation. Castlevania.
