Our Best Years: M6 presents a new short series of family and home scenes

For more than 20 years, short formats have been the hallmark of the M6. Between Camera Café, Kaamelott, Scènes de Ménages and En Famille, these humorous lozenges are still an integral part of the channel’s DNA today.

Despite some failures – we still remember Comme des Gosses, which started last summer, which unfortunately did not find its audience – M6 continues to offer new programs in the hope that they will achieve the same success as Scènes de Ménages and En Famille (whose new season has recently released), which have been on the air for 14 and 11 years, respectively.

At a back-to-school conference held yesterday at the channel’s premises, M6 announced the launch of an ambitious new short series called Our Best Years.

Created by the group’s French fiction and humor director Yann Goazempis and produced by Rosalita Production, this new comedy format offers the opportunity to follow the evolution of French daily life over 50 years.

The family, the relationship between men and women, the education of children, but also health, work, school, holidays, recreation, food and technology are all topics that we approach through the prism of the family like no other.

For this occasion, M6 takes us on a space-time journey with Françoise, who we find as a teenager in the 70s, to find her mother in the 90s and finally her grandmother in the present day. With him and his entire happy family, we’re going to take a look at a photo album of their best years…

In terms of casting, M6 has called for regulars after David Sales, who is already in the cast of La Petite Histoire de France on W9, and Nadia Rosi, who was in Central Police Station, another comedy lozenge that aired on the channel in 2016. will be.

Marie Lanchas, Maille Winaud-Pilarsky, Lucas Penetti, Agnes Migouras, Jean-Francois Kyrie (Les Bracelets Rouges), Tristan Jeram, Loic Legendre (Alice Nevers), Lou Howard and Charlene Ballou-Emann also star.

At the moment, the date or time of the broadcast has not yet been announced, but there is a good chance that Our Best Years will take the place of Scènes de Ménages for a few weeks in 2023-2024. To be continued…
