It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Friday 7 July 2023 Episode 703 [SPOILERS]

Eliot wants to abolish double marriage

At the roommate, Elliot settles with Greg. He assures her that he is happy in Japan, even if he misses his life in France and his friends. She blames herself for not telling her how she felt earlier. Indeed, it worries Greg that he always entrusts Hortense as a priority. Lost, Greg begins to question their future marriage.

In the boarding school, Hortense does not want to get out of her duvet. Mehdi comes to see her to cheer her up. Hortense terribly regrets yesterday. She imagines the worst: that Elliott won’t forgive her and that they’ll never be friends again.

At the institute, Elliot admits to Jasmine and Jude that he is still too angry with Hortense to talk to her. She puts the blame entirely on her, especially the fact that Greg no longer wants to marry her. Jasmine and Judy try to calm him down.

Lionel, Jasmine, and Vicky meet in the cafeteria to come up with a plan of attack and settle things. The first step for Lionel is to reconcile Greg and Elliot. And he has a very specific idea in mind.

Meanwhile, in the workshop, Gregg confides in his father with Elliott about his headache. He admits he’s a little lost. Benoit says that he went through difficult phases with Delfin. But in the end they stayed together because they love each other. Benoit also suspects that his son still wants to marry Elliot, given that he continues to work on their wedding menu.

After which Lionel takes Greg blindfolded to the bank. Opening his eyes, Greg finds Elliot in front of him. Lionel leaves both of them. The couple remembers their first kiss. Elliott tells Greg that his dream is to be with him wherever he is. If he could, he would get married right away. Moreover, Eliot prefers to annul the double marriage with Mehdi and Hortense.

Later, Mehdi and Judah inform Hortense of Greg and Elliott’s reconciliation. Hortense then thinks it’s the perfect time to catch up with her best friend. He walks her down the hall and apologizes for what he did the night before. Eliot listens to him, but declares that he would prefer to annul the double marriage. She plans to marry Greg on July 14th as arranged, leaving Hortense free to throw her own party with her own ideas. But Hortense doesn’t see it that way. He is also going to get married on July 14. With or without Eliot…

Louie investigates Axel’s savior

In the hallway, Jasmine meets Axel in front of a portrait of Auguste Armand. The young man wants to know the identity of the person who sent him the message last Thursday. Jasmine thinks it might be someone who is mad at the Armands. As for Axel, he thinks he is someone who knows something about his past. Anyway, she prefers not to talk about it with her sisters or uncle.

In turn, Louis calls Clotilde and Rose to Institute Park to find out the latest news. He interrogates them, in particular, about the mysterious rescue of Axel after the train accident, as well as about Auguste’s ring, which the young man found in his wallet. If Louis is interested, the two sisters would rather find a quiet life and not worry about the story anymore.

After which Louis goes to listen to Axel. He asks her about the hallucinations after the train crash, then asks to see her father’s ring. Axel doesn’t have it. She tries to interrupt, but Louis holds her back. He wants to know more. First of all, Axel thinks the whole thing is a bad joke. He leaves annoyed.

Another chef wants to run a pop-up

At the atelier, Clotilde announces to the students that Enzo will not be reopening the pop-up this summer. So he is looking for a replacement. But conveniently for Enzo and his project, the students get time to think about the proposal. Out of solidarity, they prefer to refuse the position unanimously. So Clotilda will have to call in a chef from outside the Institute to run the pop-up, which is far from charming her.

Clotilde talks to Teissier, Guinot and Landiras about this to find a solution. Zachary states that he is interested in the position. Emmanuel feels he can’t, especially since he specializes in pastry. But Zacharias has every intention of showing him what he can do. He is ready to give him a concept proposal by the end of the day.

As promised, Zachary presents his concept to Clotilde and Emmanuelle in the evening at the studio. He first tastes the foie gras cromèsque, which Emanuel hates, then the salmon-avocado-melon tartare. He plans to offer some small new sweet and savory starters. Clotilda finds his proposal interesting, unlike Emmanuel, who is very picky. But Zacharie gets the green light to manage the pop-up.
