Currently in production, recordings of Deadpool 3 are happening in the UK. This week, the hero portrayer, Ryan Reynolds, was spotted backstage wearing the iconic red and black uniform, and although the ambiance of the set hinted at an interesting action scene, it was the change of attire of the character to attract attention.
The previous two films of Dead Pool, from 2016 to 2018, together they grossed over $1.5 billion at the worldwide box office. The first was directed by Tim Miller and the sequel was directed by David Leitch. The third feature is under the command of Shawn Levy (Adam Project).
Deadpool 3 is only now entering the MCU due to Disney’s acquisition of Fox. The feature film is highly anticipated for not only going down the Marvel timeline, but also for bringing back Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. The actor’s return as the mutant was announced last year.
I can’t deny that part of me is thinking, ‘Damn, I wish they’d let that be the end of it. [de Wolverine]’. But I always knew the character would come back in some way. Maybe a younger Wolverine, or in animation. They will squeeze that lemon until there is no juice left.

Despite Mangold’s dissatisfaction, however, some fans and the actors themselves are enthusiastic about the project, especially since Jackman explained that his entry into the MCU does not interfere with Mangold’s timeline. Loganowho greeted the character at a high level in the 2017 version.
“All because of this device that they have in the Marvel world to move through timelines, now we can go back because, you know, it’s science, so I don’t have to mess with Logan’s timeline, which was important to me. And I think probably for the fans toothe Wolverine actor on The Jess Cagle Show said.
