Reference in reggae and responsible for making the genre known around the world, Bob Marley will star in another hit, only this time the highlight comes to the big screen and features the performance of the British actor Kingsley Ben-Adir bring the musician to life. The first preview of the biopic of the Jamaican artist, Bob Marley: One lovewas released this Thursday the 6th by Paramount Pictures.
Died at the age of 36 in 1981 after battling skin cancer, Bob Marley not only left a great legacy in the music business, but he was also an activist for social causes and steadfast in the fight to defend peace.
Marley’s presence in Jamaica’s volatile political scene during the 1970s reached thousands and was able to influence the country’s future. In 1976, the musician, his wife and his band were shot and killed, but no one was killed. The scene is one of the highlights of the trailer for the production which is expected to arrive in 2024.
