Marvel: The Secret Invasion series answers the mystery of this post-credits scene that no one remembers

As we know, the post-credits scenes of Marvel movies aren’t limited to eye-rolling for die-hard MCU fans. These sequences also make it possible to reveal the future of the saga, by revealing a new character or teasing the next feature film in the superhero franchise.

Some post-credit scenes are more memorable than others. Some have been forgotten, such as the Thor: The Dark World bonus series, the second part of the adventures of the God of Thunder, played by Chris Hemsworth.

In this scene from exactly ten years ago, the Frost Beast – those giant creatures from Jötunheim and met at the very beginning of the first Thor movie – are seen in the heart of London, chasing birds on the roof of a building.

A humorous and anecdotal sequence on the surface, but it ended up playing an important role in the MCU and more specifically in the Secret Invasion series currently airing on Disney+!

What surprised fans when in the second episode of the new Marvel Studios series, in the secret laboratory where the Super-Skrulls are created, they discovered the presence of DNA from several creatures, especially from Groot, but also. From Frost Beasts!

Therefore, everything indicates that the monster seen at the end of Thor 2 will have a disastrous fate, serving as a guinea pig for Skrull scientists to give extra power to the program’s big bad, Gravik!

Episodes of Secret Invasion can be seen every Wednesday exclusively on Disney+.
