Guardians of the Galaxy 3: A Deleted Scene reveals the fate of this central character

In theaters since May 3, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 has grossed $841 million at the international box office and attracted 3.4 million viewers in French theaters. James Gunn’s feature film is the most watched installment of the saga in France.

The Marvel movie that fans have been waiting for is the last movie in this team of franchise guardians. In this Volume 3, Peter Quill, still grieving the loss of Gamora (Zoe Saldana), must assemble his team to protect the universe and save Rocket.

At the end of the featurette, Rocket frees living beings (humans and animals) from the ship of the Master of Evolution, played by Chukwudi Iwuji, and fights his creator. But when it’s time to kill him, a genetically modified raccoon decides to spare him.

James Gunn explained to the site while promoting the film GamesRadar+ that the end of the movie is: “Rocket Journey Climax”. He added:

Rocket goes from the least empathetic Guardian to the most compassionate Guardian. It seems stupid and stupid that he refuses to kill the evolutionist and then abandons him on the exploding ship.
