‘Fight’ between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg

at the end of June, Elon Musk “challenged” Mark Zuckerberg to a duel, in a post on his social profile. “I’m up for a cage fight if it’s lol,” he tweeted.

The comment came after Meta announced the launch of a social network to compete with Twitter, Threads. “I’m sure Earth is looking forward to being solely under Zuck’s control with no other options,” Musk also wrote on the case.

A day later, Zuckerberg took to Instagram to post a screenshot of Musk’s tweet, with the caption: “Submit location.” The owner of Tesla then replied: “Vegas Octagon”, referring to the arena of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Dana White, head of the UFC, the sport’s largest organization, is aware of the opportunity and has begun work on the bout between the two celebrities. Through the UFC social network, Dana began selling T-shirts with his company logo and the title of the event: “Zuckerberg vs. Musk”, as he usually does in the big fights in his league. Each piece has a value of US$40 (R$192) and is on sale on the official website.

The quarrel, however, does not seem to go beyond a joke.
