Warner Bros. released on Tuesday (11th) the final trailer of Blue Beetle, a new film in the DC Extended Universe (DCU) starring Xolo Maridueña. The action-packed stretch brought in more scenes of Bruna Marquezine as Jenny Kord, the romantic interest of the protagonist.
Blue Beetle accompanies an ordinary teenager who lives a quiet life in El Paso, USA. Everything changes when he finds a mysterious beetle that resembles a beetle, the object fuses with his body giving the boy powers. And thus a superhero was born.
In addition to Maridueña and Marquezine, the feature film also features Susan Sarandon, Belissa Escobedo (Abracadabra 2), Harvey Guillen, George López (The Adventures of Sharkboy), Adriana Barrazza (Rambo: Last Blood, Babel) and Damiano Alcazar (The Chronicles of Narnia) in the list.
Blue Beetle is highly anticipated not only for playing the hero for the first time in a live solo production, but also because Marquezine has joined the cast. The actress, known in Brazil for several successful soap operas, was officially announced in March 2022.
