It’s strange, but while a few years ago everyone probably only thought of Robin Williams when they heard the title ‘Jumanji’, action megastar Dwayne Johnson has earned his place in the adventure franchise. Director Jake Kasdan (Teacher Without Class) turned the board game into a video game and brought the story to the present day with Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, a huge success. No wonder, he won a continuation that managed to keep the level.



What is Jumanji: The Next Level about?

Two years after Bethany (Madison Iseman), Spencer (Alex Wolff), Fridge (Ser’Darius Blain) and Martha (Morgan Turner) were sucked into the mysterious video game Jumanji, the four friends’ lives are back on track. They finished school and went their separate ways, but they still keep in touch. Only Spencer keeps getting further and further away, until one day he disappears altogether. His friends know that this can only mean one thing: he’s back in the world of Jumanji! But why alone?




Determined to bring their friend back to real life, the three decide to follow Spencer. But something goes wrong, and before they know it, they’re back in the video game where everything looks different. Plus, not only do they have a new villain in the terrifying Jürgen (Rory McCann), but also…
