Camping Paradis on TF1: Why aren’t Stephanie and Andre in tonight’s episode?

TF1 broadcasts this Monday, July 17 a new unreleased episode of Camping Paradis called “Blues at the reunion”, which sees Tom, Xavier and Audrey fly to Reunion to attend the wedding of Christian Pariseau’s son Max (Quentin Thebo). In order for the wedding to go off without a hitch, the Blues will have to bring together a Parisian father and son who are strangers to each other.

They will also have the difficult task of uncovering the unspoken toxicity between the bride and her mother, played by Rebecca Hampton, aka Celine Frémont on Plus belle la vie, who has voiced her opinion on a potential return to the series.

Why aren’t Stefan and Andre?

After Corsica and the ski resort of Morzine, the Camping Paradis team leaves the shores of the Mediterranean for the third time, this time for Reunion. For the occasion, Laurent Urnack, Patrick Guerinault, Candy and Patrick Parox traveled to Paradise Island to film this new special episode.

However, the most experienced viewers will not notice that the two actors are not subscribers. Juliet Cheney, who plays Stephanie, Tom’s companion, and Thierry Heckendorn, who plays Andre, really couldn’t make it through the ten thousand kilometers that separate them from the reunion.

Interviewed by Allocine, Richard Berkowitz, producer of Camping Paradis, addressed the reasons for this absence. “Juliet Shane was pregnant during the filming of this episode, so she couldn’t make it to the reunion, it wasn’t possible“, he explained.

“For Thierry, having Andre in the story didn’t really work, so we made the choice not to include him. And by the way, it was a long journey. And Thierry is as old as he is…“

These two absences were certainly included in the script for this special episode. Andre is forced to stay in France to take care of his grandchildren, while Stéphane is stuck at work.

Of course, both characters will return in the next episode of Camping Paradis.A boy band in heaven”, which will be broadcast on Monday, July 24 on TF1. A chance for campers to welcome Frank Delle, one of the members of 2Be3, and Anthony Dupree, aka Anthony in Premiers Baisers and Les Années Fac, who will perform as members of the 90s star boy group.

This episode of the event should confirm the success of Camping Paradis, which remains one of TF1’s strongest brands even after 17 years on the air.
