The sequel to Captain Marvel is scheduled for release in November
The next release, “The Marvels”will be a continuation of the sequence of “Secret Invasion” It is “Captain Marvel”set to premiere on November 10 of this year, the film will take the latest events of the series Marvel Cinematic Universe which ends this month.

This news suggests that Fury will have to survive the final showdown against gravik ( Kingsley Ben-Adir) and the group of Skrulls rebels to prevent the alien race from taking over Earth, taking over the planet and turning it into Nova Skrullos.
In the plot of “Secret Invasion”Fury returns to Earth after a stint in space and rejoins Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), a Skrull who befriended the former leader of SHIELD after the events of “Captain Marvel” and is now part of the resistance against his own kind.
Once back, Fury is alerted to the Skrulls’ plan to take Earth for themselves, which could lead to World War III, as they believe he has failed to keep his promise to find the aliens a home.
