Brazil weather forecast for 07/21/2023 – Friday
South Region
Areas of instability move away from Rio Grande do Sul, but it can still rain at dawn along the coast. During the morning the weather stabilizes and the sun predominates. The other areas of Rio Grande do Sul spend the day with plenty of sun and no risk of rain.
In Santa Catarina and Paraná the strong sun predominates even within the states, but the mountains of Santa Catarina and Grande Curitiba still have periods of the day with many clouds.
On the coast of Paraná, in the Itajaí Valley, on the northern coast of Santa Catarina and in Greater Florianópolis, the sun appears among many clouds and it can rain lightly.

Southeast region
A large and strong mass of cold air of polar origin is found on the coast of the southeast region. The maritime wind caused by this system still spreads a lot of moisture over the east of São Paulo, the states of Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo, and the east and north of Minas Gerais. Many clouds form in these regions, but the sun appears little.
Light rain is expected in Espírito Santo, on the north coast of Rio de Janeiro, in the Rio Doce Valley and in the Jequitinhonha Valley. It can rain quickly along the coast of Sao Paulo.
In the Zona da Mata Mineira, in Greater Belo Horizonte/Historic Cities, the day continued with many clouds and periods with sun, but no rain.
In the south of Minas, in the central-west of Minas Gerais, including the Triângulo and throughout the interior of São Paulo, the sun appears strong all day.
Beware of frost at dawn in the highest areas of the Serra da Mantiqueira.
Midwest region
A large dry air mass intensifies over Midwestern Brazil. The low air humidity inhibits the formation of clouds and the occurrence of rain. The sun appears strong and the weather is dry, with no rain, throughout the Region.
The humidity level in the air is decreasing and the temperature is increasing. Low humidity levels, between 21% and 30%, should be observed practically throughout the Region, but most areas of Mato Grosso can have hours with air humidity below 20%.
Northeast Region
Dry air predominates in the interior of the Northeast and almost the whole Region has a day with lots of sun and dry weather, without rain.
A cold front found on the coast of Bahia leaves lots of cloud cover and rain showers with lightning on the north coast of Bahia and in the Recôncavo. The day is rainy in the south of Bahia.
Sergipe, Alagoas, eastern Pernambuco and Paraíba and eastern Rio Grande do Norte have frequent rain showers and sunny periods.
On the Piauí coast, in the north coast and in the central-west of Maranhão, the day is sunny and it rains with lightning, which can be moderate to strong.
Northern region
A dry air mass affects much of the northern region. The weather is dry, with a lot of sun and heat in Tocantins, in the south, center, east and west of Pará, in the south, center and east of Amazonas, in Rondônia and in Acre.
In other areas of the Northern Region there are showers with lightning, especially in the afternoon and at night, but the sun appears. In Roraima, in northwestern Amazonia, showers are more frequent.
