Josephine was the daughter of Charlie Chaplin and Oona O’Neill and was born in 1949 in Santa Monica, California (USA). With a renowned career in theaters, the actress started her career in her childhood, in a film starring her father.

She was married to businessman Nikki Sistovaris between 1969 and 1977, and was later married to French actor Maurice Ronet.until his death in 1983.
