Hundreds of thousands of fans of American singer Taylor Swift flocked to Seattle on Saturday before the artist’s concert on the Eras tour.
Crowds lined up to purchase T-shirts and other merchandise outside Lumen Field, where the artist will perform this Saturday and Sunday.
Shortly after getting off a flight from Salt Lake City, Utah, Ragnhild Read wanted to buy memorabilia from the concert. “For Taylor, I would travel the world,” she told Reuters.
He had already seen the singer in Salta Lake City in 2013, when he lived in Seattle and traveled to see the artist. She is now making the opposite journey.
Taylor Swift concerts help generate revenue for hotels and restaurants around the world. Visit Seattle, the city’s tourism organization, expects the same thing to happen this weekend.
Taylor Swift has shows lined up for The Eras tour in Brazil in November, in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
