The Morning Show: synopsis, cast and trailer for the Apple TV+ series

The Morning Show debuted in November 2019 and is already considered a huge success, winning Emmy, SAG and Critics Choice Awards. He therefore already had the confirmation of the fourth season, even before the premiere of the third, scheduled for 2023. The plot was the second project of Apple TV +. As one of the biggest bets on streaming, it brings Jennifer Aniston back to the series after 15 years since Friends ended in 2004.

The story revolves around the behind-the-scenes drama of a morning TV show in the United States and has a set premiere date for the third season: September 13th. The first two episodes arrive on the platform on the same date, while the others will be released weekly, on Wednesdays.

Synopsis

Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston) has been the director of The Morning Show for many years, a prestigious morning television program that seems to have revolutionized American television. Then Mitch Kessler (Steve Carell), her partner of 15 years, is fired after being accused of sexual misconduct.

With that, Alex must fight to keep his post as lead anchor, while fighting a battle with Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon), a rookie who wants to steal his job.

In addition to having an original cast and owning several trophies, The Morning Show has a big name cast. Jennifer Aniston (Rachel, from Friends), brings to life Alex Levy, the workmate of Steve Carell (Michael, from The Office), who lives Mitch Kessler. Reese Witherspoon is Bradley Jackson, a young reporter destined to take Alex’s place.

The series also stars Billy Crudup (Watchmen) as Cory Ellison; Mark Duplass (Blue Jay) as Charles “Chip” Black; Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Loki) as Hannah Shoenfeld; and Nestor Carbonell (Bates Motel), as Yanko Flores.
