The trailer for Heartstopper: Season 2 of the hit Netflix show promises to be even more compelling

Netflix’s favorite couple is back soon to delight fans! Charlie (Joe Locke) and Nick (Keith Connor) seem more in love than ever in the second season of Heartstopper, the adaptation of Alice Oseman’s British graphic novel. The series became a hit on the platform and the romance between two young teenagers broke Artichoke’s hearts.

The series follows the love story between Charlie Spring and Nick Nelson. The first is introverted, dreamy and openly gay, although his sexual orientation was revealed without his consent and he was bullied by several classmates.

She falls in love with another, a popular rugby boy, who is still curious about her sexuality, especially as she gets closer to Charlie.

Post-meeting questions and the first moments of flirtation mark the beginning of a blossoming romantic relationship in season one…or almost. Because in the second season of Heartstopper, Nick will gradually come out as bisexual to his family and friends. And it’s not easy for a young guy.

Fortunately, she can rely on the support of her friend Charlie, as well as her new group of friends and girlfriends, who offer an endearing and sympathetic portrait of the LGBTQIA + community.

If the romance isn’t without complications, the Heartstopper crew will also be in for a crazy adventure in Paris as the new season packs its bags for a school trip to the French capital. A chance to welcome French actor Thibaut de Montalembert (Ten Percent) who plays Nick’s father Stéphane Fournier.

The new episodes of Marshmallow But Never Silly promises a good dose of love, friendship and complete craziness this summer. And fans can continue to support the adorable couple Nick and Charlie have created.

Season 2 of Heartstopper will be available August 3rd on Netflix.
