Netflix is gearing up for the Halloween season by announcing the release date of Mike Flanagan’s new series, The Fall of the Usher House: October 12th. The creator of The Haunting of Hill House this time deals with the monument of American Gothic literature.
This story by Edgar Allan Poe has been adapted for the screen many times. The most famous film is Roger Corman, released in 1960, starring Vincent Price. A monument of horrors.
The story tells the fate of the ruthless Roderick and Madeline Asher, brother and sister, founders of the empire Fortunato Pharmaceuticals, where power, wealth and privilege combine. But the secrets of the past will resurface when the heirs of the Usher family disappear one after another.
