This Sunday, Oeste received Ponte Preta at the Arena Barueri, for the seventh round of Group 2 of the Copa Paulista and the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
With the result, Oeste remained in third place with 11 points. Macaca, on the other hand, will need a miracle to qualify for the competition: with just two points, the Campinas team is at the bottom of the group with just two points.
In the next round, Ponte will play at home again, this time against RB Bragantino, next Sunday, at 4pm (Brasilia time). The West, on the same day, visits the XV de Piracicaba, at 15:00, in Barão da Serra Negra.
The game
In a match where West played the main action, the chances of scoring were slim. Both teams failed in the last pass, which hurt the performance. However, the home team also opened the scoring in second stage added time, but the goal was disallowed for offside.
The offer generated many complaints from Barueri’s team, but the decision was stood by and the match finished 0-0.
Game over. The score was zero to zero. The next match will be on 22/08 against XV de Piracicaba.
