The German club didn’t make Endo’s departure difficult after the midfielder himself, who captained the team, asked them to let him “follow his dream” and move to Liverpool. Thus, the parties reached an agreement within hours.
At Stuttgart since the 2019/20 season, the Japanese player has made 132 appearances for the team, with 15 goals and 11 assists. Before that he played football in Belgium and Japan.
In addition to Endo, Liverpool have signed former Brighton’s Argentine Alexis Mac Allister and former RB Leipzig’s Hungarian Szoboszlai in this transfer window. On the other hand, names like Henderson, Fabinho, James Milner, Naby Keita, Arthur, Fábio Carvalho and Oxlade-Chamberlain have left the club.
