A new suspect appears in the fire case
Akim informs Thierry that he has interviewed Buddha Blue. He confirms to her that it is a synthetic drug considered narcotic, that the main users are young, and that the consequences can be horrific. Thierry asks him to help her in this case. Akim accepts.
Ellis and Ian appraise Becker about the fire investigation. According to Ellis, Ronan doesn’t have the profile to kill anyone. It is clear that the body of the deceased was moved before the fire, after the workers left. There was only a security guard there. After he is hired by Milo Pelletier, Becker asks Ian and Ellis to question Milo.
Claudine joins Milo at the police station for his interrogation. Ian explains to him that he needs to speak to the security guard, Mr. Bresand. Milo claims that they have been working together for more than 15 years and have never heard anything negative about him. Ian tries to find out if he could have been guilty of questionable activities such as material trafficking. Milo assures her that if she had any doubts about him, she wouldn’t be working with him today. He claims: Bresand has complete confidence. Milo finally realizes that Ian suspects the security guard of killing the fire victim. He gets angry and asks to stop the interrogation.
Akim thinks about a night with Margo. He tries to call the young woman, but she doesn’t answer. He insists, hitting her answering machine and asking her to call him back.
Ellis summons security guard Bresand and gives him a photo of the victim. Bresand replies that he has never seen it. Ellis explains that he was sitting on the site of the building and died before the fire. He is surprised that after watching the scene, he did not see anything. Bresand then admits to her that he fell asleep watching the video the night of the fire and that he didn’t want to talk about it so Milo wouldn’t shoot him. Alice smiles: her alibi is a bit weak. She decides to keep him in police custody until his memory returns.
Akim comes to pick up some things from Noemi. He tries to talk to her, wants to understand the situation. Akim replies that it has nothing to do with it and that feelings are simply impossible to control. Noemi criticizes him for turning cold and breaking up in a few days, she wants to know what happened, what changed him like this. Akim looks at her, says sorry and leaves. Noemi is devastated.
Alice and Ian fail to get the security guard to confess to his involvement in the on-site murder. Thierry arrives and tells them about the investigation into the various construction sites the victim has worked on over the past two years. Three of them were guarded by a security guard. That’s why he lied, he definitely knew the victim.
Dimitri’s bluff backfires
Dimitri confides in Leonore that he is not going to buy the house that caught Sabina’s eye. But not wanting to crush his girlfriend’s dreams, he offered to make her an offer that was far below the asking price, certain that the offer would never be accepted. Leonor criticizes Dimitri for not being honest with Sabina. But Dimitri isn’t worried, he’s confident that they’ll eventually find a home that Sabine will like and that’s within their budget.
But against all expectations, Sabin gets a call from a real estate agent who tells him that his offer has been accepted. Sabina can’t believe it. The owners, under pressure, made the choice to sell as quickly as possible.
Sabine joins Dimitri at the club and tells him that their proposal is over. Dimitri hides his joy. Sabine explains the following steps: they will have to pay 18,000 euros each as a deposit. Dimitri says that this will not be a problem.
As Sabina leaves, Leonor criticizes Dimitri for getting too deep into her problems. But Dimitri refuses to let Sabine down. He admits that he does not have the necessary €18,000, he only has €6,000 in the bank. But he adds that he is going to take credit for the remaining amount. And that he’ll find a way out if he can’t get it. Leonor warns him: she is afraid that she will find herself in a position of excessive debt.
Claudine overhears Johanna and Sabine’s phone conversation about the house. He asks Johanna why she congratulated Sabine. Johanna smiles, amused that Claudine is unaware of such an important decision in her daughter’s life. He then tells her that Sabine is moving in with Dimitri and they are buying a house.
Surprised, Claudine calls Sabina and scolds her for not telling her about her house project. Sabine is surprised: she has the feeling that her mother has not been interested in her life for a long time. Claudine asks her not to be unkind and offers financial help. She is afraid that her daughter will not earn a teacher’s salary. Sabine refuses his proposal. He knows that his mother’s interests are never just financial. He prefers to take care of himself.
Dimitri meets Eva on a date and tells her the story of this house. Eva advises him to talk to Sabine and tell her the truth about his financial problems. Dimitri refuses. He enlists Eve’s help and offers to restore the Temptation Agency. Eva reminds him that because of this agency they got involved in a murder case, that he almost lost his marriage, and that he cheated on Sabine. Dimitri claims that it would only be bail time. He has no other choice. But Eve defends her positions. He doesn’t want to risk losing Manu.
