I have a lot of respect for the chefs and women and men in this industry. I feel like the whole society is riding on the shoulders of people in the food industry and we don’t even know it or think about it. They help and grow us every day and don’t get enough credit for what they do.”

Will Poulter is an avid cook and explained that his interest in the culinary arts came from his mother, who attended culinary school. The actor gave his all for his role, even if it was just a guest appearance. Before joining the set in Chicago, he even took a few weeks to learn some basic gestures with The Bear’s culinary expert Courtney Storer and worked at three restaurants in London.
Chef Lucas’ translator has also been meticulously working on his character’s tattoos, which he hopes will return to the series:
“I promise, no one has the fanboy energy of the show more than I do. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been on the show, I guarantee it. It’s been one of the best experiences of my life, if not the best work experience of my life.”
