Legacies brings back The Originals’ Joseph Morgan as Klaus in the series finale, but what will fans see?

Spoilers ahead for the penultimate episode of bequests on The CW, titled “This Can Only Go In The Blood”.

The end is near for bequests as the third and final program in the television universe launched by the vampire diariesbut fans didn’t have to wait for next week’s series finale to see the final battle of wait and the great team versus Known. The clash took place after many deaths, some happy resurrections thanks to To land in limbo and finally Ken’s death. So what’s the next step now that the big battle seems over? good second The originalsJoseph Morgan, Klaus it will make an expected and unexpected appearance.

Joseph Morgan, who obviously played Klaus Mikaelson first the vampire diaries then inside The originals (which you can both revisit with a Netflix membership), posted the reveal on Instagram Live. The video didn’t upload to the social media platform, but fans were quick enough to capture her message on the series finale. bequestsYes we shared it on Twitter. morgan says:

A few things right now. You will see Klaus again, in the last episode of Legacies. Just for a fleeting moment. That’s all. You heard it here the first time. And I’ll tell you one more thing, and I know a lot of you probably don’t like it: there’s never been talk of a ship for me or Klaus. It is a family matter. Family is power. She is a father and daughter of him. Their relationship.

So that’s it! Klaus will appear in the series finale of bequests, but it looks like fans won’t see much of it if Joseph Morgan specifically said he would show up for “a fleeting moment” and “that’s it.” Klaus didn’t appear in the promo that aired after the show’s penultimate episode, so it’s possible the show really only has a small part of him and wants to save all of the footage for the big reveal … or Joseph Morgan did. . reveal soon.

Either way, I think it’s safe to say that no matter how long Klaus lasts in the finale, it’s going to be pretty exciting after Hope and SunriseAurora’s near-death swap in “This Can Only End in Blood”. Shippers simply shouldn’t expect their looks to have anything to do with romance. Obviously Klaus is definitely dead, so the big question is how he’s going to get him back. Morgan previously said he wasn’t interested in reprising the role because Klaus had a “whole story” and “start to finish” of The originalsso it seems likely that whatever happens will benefit Hope’s story rather than change anything in Klaus’s story arc.

Also, we need to take into consideration Joseph Morgan’s tweet from last month, which managed to partially debunk and partially support the possibility of it appearing before the end. He turned to Twitter at the end of May (i.e. after the bequests cancellation as part of what designer Julie Plec dubbed a “red wedding”) to post:

Now, if we take Joseph Morgan’s word for not having seen anything the vampire diaries universe “in person” for years in light of his recent comeback reveal, so it’s possible he filmed a cameo via Zoom or some other kind of method that didn’t require him to be on set. (It’s cool titans for her new role on the superhero show). And she repeated that Klaus was dead, so his appearance in the finale probably won’t be a resurrection. But the tweet’s formatting that mentioned “hidden codes” also wrote “FINAL” in the left margin, so it looks like it was really leaving hints.
