Last July, after months of rumours, TF1 announced that Plus belle la vie would rise from the ashes on its airwaves. In early 2024, the inhabitants of the famous fictional district of Mistral will make a big return to the small screen for this much-anticipated sequel.
In this announcement, the channel has revealed the names of some of the actors who will be returning to Plus belle la vie. Sylvie Flap (Mirta Torres), Léa François (Barbara Eveneau), Stéphane Hannon (Jean-Paul Boher), Cecilia Hornus (Blanche Mars) and Laurent Kerussore (Thomas Mars) were thus announced.
Marwan Beren, who has camped with Abdel Fedala for many years, is also expected to return, although his legal troubles could jeopardize that return.
While the production has already announced that other iconic actors are to be added to this list, there are certain actors who will not be on board for the sequel to Plus belle la vie. This is the case of Rebecca Hampton (Celine Fremont), who has announced that she wants to move on after serving as one of the main characters for 18 seasons.
and with the information of our colleagues Entertainment televisionIt won’t be the only one of the Frémont clan that won’t be a subscriber, as neither Juliette Chene, who camped with Juliet, Céline’s sister, and daughter of Charles Frémont (Alexandre Fabry) should return.
The actor, who was in the series from 2004-2008, decided to leave the series to start new projects. A departure that was far from final, after her character returned during a June 2012 episode in which Juliet and her father reconciled after years of tension.
Since then, Juliette Cheney has notably played in Tomorrow Belongs to Us and Camping Paradis, where she has been in the camp since 2021 as Stephanie, Tom’s (Laurent Urnack) companion. When asked about a potential return to the sequel to A Better Life, the actor told our colleagues that TF1 has not been contacted.
“Then I’ll be happy to have my character back, even for a little intrigue“, he explained. “I loved playing in Plus belle la vie, it’s a series I have a lot of love for. I was very sad that it ended. I haven’t been there in years, but they talk about it every day on the street. What will happen next, I have no idea…“
With Juliet Shane as one of the faces of the TF1 fiction, there is certainly a chance that the producer will call her back for a few episodes once Plus belle la vie is re-released.
