Doctor Sean Murphy is set to return to TF1. The channel will air the first two episodes of The Good Doctor Season 6 this Wednesday, August 23 at 9:10 p.m. In October 2022, after a few weeks on the air, season 5 of the medical series hosted by Freddie Highmore ended with a finale that was both tragic and celebratory.
While Shawn and Leah (Paige Spara) were celebrating their wedding, Audrey Lim (Christina Chang) was seriously injured by Owen (Terry Chen), nurse Dalisay Villanueva’s (Elfina Luck) abusive ex. Will he be able to survive? It was on this unbearable cliffhanger that the 5th season of The Good Doctor ended.
The fate of the offended character
Fortunately, in the first episode of Season 6, viewers will discover that Audrey Lim managed to contact Andrews (Hill Harper) to warn him about the attack she just suffered. So he is supported by Marcus, Shawn, Glassman (Richard Schiff), Jordan (Bria Samone Henderson), Jerome (Giacomo Baesato) and Leah.
If the doctors manage to save his life, when he wakes up, he finds that he is paralyzed and that he has lost the use of his legs. News that will turn Dr. Lim’s life upside down. She becomes very angry with Shawn, who she believes is responsible for her condition, and eventually ends their friendship.

The couple breaks up
On the heart side, the doctors at Saint Bonaventure Hospital are going through a lot of changes. In the first episode, Morgan (Fiona Gubelman) decides to turn down a job she was offered in New York and stay in San Jose. But Park (Will Yoon Lee) feels that she is still putting her career ahead of their relationship and ends their romance.
Will doctors Morgan Resnick and Alex Park be able to give themselves another chance? Or is this really the end of this couple?
On a more positive note, Asher (Noah Galvin) and Jerome finally admit their feelings for each other.
Two new interns
This new season of The Good Doctor also brings two new interns, Danny Perez and Danica Powell, who will be supervised by Sean and Park. Danny, described as a quiet-looking man haunted by secrets from his past, is played by Brandon Laracuente, who played Jeff Atkins in 13 Reasons Why.
His colleague, an ex-soldier who has trouble with Sean, is played by Savannah Welch, who most notably played Barbara Gordon in the Titans series.
