Could Alina unite a country at war? Or are the forces conspiring against her too strong? The end of the first season gave us some answers to those questions, but there is still much to know.

With these new names, the cast for the new episodes is enlarged, and we are going to need new blood for the new adventures of the protagonists.
‘Shadow and bone’ season 2: Plot
The Netflix adaptation deviates a bit from the books, but we imagine that the synopsis of ‘Siege and storm’ will definitely provide a hint of what is to come in the second season:
Hunted across the True Sea, haunted by the lives she took in The Shadow, Alina must attempt to make her life with Mal in an unknown land, all while keeping her identity as the summoner of the sun a secret. But she won’t be able to put her past or her destiny behind her for long.
The Dark Heretic has emerged from The Shadow with a terrifying new power and a dangerous plan that will test the limits of the natural world. With the help of a famous corsair, Alina returns to the country she left behind, determined to fight the forces that are gathering against Ravka.
But as her power grows, Alina becomes deeper into the Dark Heretic’s game of forbidden magic and further away from Mal. Somehow, she will have to choose between her country, her power, and the love she always thought would guide her. , or risk losing everything to the coming storm.
During a chat with DigitalSpy, Jessie Mei Li talked more about where we left Alina and how it will affect her future. “Alina goes from being a scared little puppy who can’t look anyone in the eye, to suddenly having this heavy feeling for her. We feel like she’s grown a lot and she’s very strong. It’s a really nice place to drop her off. We know where she’s going now and where she needs to go.”
Nevertheless, this new strength may come at a price. “The good thing is that there’s a little bit of a darker side to Alina throughout the series. It’s hinted at a lot in terms of her relationship with Kirigan and being seduced by all the luxury that surrounds her, and the power. I’d really like to see that.” side of her explored, and maybe how suddenly all that power and being that kind of saint affects her. I think it’s always interesting when we have a female lead who’s drawn to that sort of thing, it’s very ‘Star Wars’, drawn to the dark side, whether he goes or not, and how that affects his relationships.
‘Shadow and bone’ season 2: Trailer and images
Unfortunately, We do not expect to have images and trailers for a second season of ‘Shadow and bone’ until at least after the middle of 2022. Let’s hope, yes, that there are no delays and once the pandemic is over, we don’t have to wait much more than a year. When something appears, you will find it here.
