It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Thursday, August 24, 2023 Episode 737 [SPOILERS]

On Thursday, August 24, it all starts here…

Enzo receives unexpected news

Enzo is desperate because his surgery can no longer be rescheduled. He regrets that he missed the chance because he was afraid. Vicky and Antoine support him as best they can. The latter advises him to revise his project with Chef Delobal.

A young man walks into the kitchen with Vic, Tom and Billy. He’s determined to impress potential investors…but receives an unexpected phone call. Her doctor tells her that a spot has become available for her in his schedule! So he rushed to the hospital without warning the others.

However, Enzo texts Vic to explain everything. He and his friends are excited and then decide to continue training the investors until Chef DeLobel arrives… Once he’s there, he’s happy for Enzo, but also wants him to attend this very important meeting that he plans to cancel…

Vic then has a bright idea: he is going to change Enzo, because he knows the concept of his comrade as his hand. Greg’s father agrees to give him a chance and he goes to receive their guests. Vicki is totally panicking, but we have to be on the track…

At the hospital, Enzo talks to his surgeon. She tells him about her worries, but the doctor wants to be reassuring and leaves. Vicki shows up to cheer her friend on. He takes his hand in support and informs that the presentation to the investors with Chef Delobal was a success!

But just as he’s about to announce something important to Vic, Enzo is rushed to the OR. Hortense’s little sister tells her that they’ll talk about all of this later… while Benoit sings Vic’s praises to Teissier and Antoine. He recommends keeping an eye on it because it could be brilliant! The director decides not to repeat it for a year.

In the hospital waiting room, Malia, the patient’s mother, and Vicky discuss their plans for Enzo’s care. Both agree it was a bad idea.

They and Enzo’s father are suddenly interrupted by a doctor. He has good news and bad news: he was able to free the spinal cord, but Enzo went into anaphylactic shock from the anesthesia! This caused him to go into cardiac arrest and is now in intensive care…

Hortense advises Suleiman

Hortense reveals to Souleyman that she will no longer be able to help him prepare for the entrance exam at the institute, as she will create the tests with Leros. They’re both disappointed, but she doesn’t blame him…she knows this is a great opportunity.

Proud to have succeeded in his cooking course, Antoine challenges Suleiman to cook a better dish than him… except he doesn’t know that his son has been training tirelessly for the institute’s competition! He also talks her into Montpellier’s Master of Market Horticulture, which she could integrate…

Suleiman is embarrassed because these are no longer his plans. She pretends she doesn’t have time and Antoine is disappointed. He criticizes his son for not stepping out of his comfort zone…which annoys the main stakeholder who is trying to develop.

Hortense, on the other hand, has her first meeting with Leros. They will go for a walk in the garden to look for ideas. Their views conflict with each other, but they quickly find inspiration. Hortense wants the future students to combine ingredients that don’t go together, and Mark loves the suggestion!

A young woman sees Suleiman leaving and confronts him, but the latter, still distraught, thinks he should go somewhere else… Hortense senses that something is wrong. He rushes to catch up with her to find out more, and she explains that Antoine depressed her earlier with those words. Hortense advises him to tell his father the whole truth in order to relieve himself of the burden…

Anais protects Tess’s secret

Salome debuts as the second baseman behind Anais in Double A. The girls work very well together. Teissier goes to see them and Anais takes the opportunity to ask him to taste the dish. But the director does not have time and asks him to come home. Deva and Mehdi, who are also behind the stoves, find this invitation strange…

The latter talks to Salome about it later. They point out to him that rumors spread quickly at the institute and that some may think that Anais and Teyssier are having an affair… Deva and Mehdi add that it’s unprofessional for Theo to bring his girlfriend home.

Salome meets Anais after her meeting with Teyssier and sees that her great friend only receives text messages from her. Except Anais claims she got a message from the delivery person and had to leave immediately. Salome is suspicious…

In fact, Anais returned to Teyssier to find him on the ground, his legs paralyzed. He has multiple sclerosis… Double A’s boss wants to take him to the hospital, but he refuses. The pastry chef asks her to wait with him until the crisis passes so she can then help him move to the couch. He also wants her not to tell anyone and especially Theo… she accepts.
