Boy, Girl (plural) on TF1: Who are the actors chosen to replace Alexandra Lamm and Jean Dujardin?

The cult series Boy, Girl is about to make a big return to television. TF1 will indeed offer two special evenings, Monday August 28 and September 4, to celebrate the anniversary of the program hosted by Alexandra Lammy and Jean Dujardin, which was France 2’s heyday for many years.

Broadcast from October 1999 to October 2003 (and rebroadcast several times after its shutdown), the short program followed the sentimental adventures of Chou and Lulu, a couple that quickly became iconic.

After M6 celebrated Camera Café’s 20th anniversary at a Prime event last January, it’s now TF1’s turn to celebrate Boy, Girl with stars re-enacting key sketches from the series.

Which stars will replace Chouchou and Loulou?

If many were hoping that Jean Dujardin and Alexandra Lam would reprise the roles that made them famous, it won’t be. The two actors really didn’t want to be part of a special called Boy, Girl (plural).

Therefore, it will be no less than 36 actors, that is, 18 couples, who will fall into the shoes of Chou and Lulu and try to make us forget about the original duo.

This unique cast consists of unexpected duos, but also real couples, such as Ines Reg and Kevin Debon (who stood out in “I Don’t Want You Too”), Faustin Bollaert and Maxime Chatham (who are trying their hand at comedy for the first time. Time in comedy) and Stefan Berni and Iori Baileres.

Directed by Sylvain Fusée (Workinggirls), Boy, Girl (plural) will also feature couples who share a connection in life, be it personal or professional. Thus, Barbara Schulz forms a pair with Joystar, her partner in the series The Replacement. The latter’s companion, Arie Elmaleh, will be in a duet with Virgin Ledoyen, with whom he shared his life for 8 years.

Viewers will also be able to find Alessandra Sublet and Olivier Marshall, Julie de Bona and Elie Semyon, Berenger Crieff and Baptiste LeCaplain, Steffi Selma and Stéphane Plaza, Alice David and Guillaume Labe, Caroline Angled and Tom Leeb, Natu and Const Khojandi. Labbé and Tom Villa, Adriana Karembeu and Denis Brogniart, Chantal Ladesou and Antoine Duléry, Michele Bernier and Olivier Sitruk, Frédérique Bel and Mathieu Madénian and finally Shim and Florent Peyre.

Updated sketches

Arguments, reconciliations, everyday life in the car, with friends, at home or in bed, TF1 viewers will be able to discover or rediscover everything that led to the success of the boy, girl in the sketches received by the taste of the day. As producer Florence Boudaud explained in Télé 7 Jours magazine. “The idea is to pay respect to the series, therefore only taking the original texts. Some of them were outdated, we adjusted them, and some of them were watered down, because we can’t say everything anymore“.

Find Boy, Girl (plural) on Monday 28 August and 4 September on TF1 from 9.10pm.
