Humidity in the air is higher than normal for this time of year in much of the country. Conditions for rain in almost all states.
A cold front is moving away from the coasts of Bahia, but in various areas of the interior of Bahia, rain clouds continue to increase.
With the recent increase in humidity in interior Brazil, the pattern of wind circulation at various levels of the atmosphere, and warm air prevailing in the Midwest, North, and Northeast of the country, many storm clouds form they are forming on areas where it rarely rains in August. This Tuesday there were heavy rains in Goiás, in the Federal District including Brasilia, in Minas Gerais, in Mato Grosso and in Tocantins.
The sea winds prevail in the southeast and bring humid air to the region, stimulating the formation of numerous clouds.

South Region
Cold air of polar origin is moving further and further away from Brazil, which facilitates the increase in temperature in the South Region. However, dawn frosts are still expected in the highest areas of the mountains of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina.
Sunny and dry weather predominates in southern Brazil and no rain is forecast for today. However, the maritime wind still brings a lot of humidity east of Paraná and northeast of Santa Catarina. With the relief conditions of these regions, many clouds form in these regions and on the coast of Santa Catarina, but it does not rain
Southeast region
The presence of high humidity and the circulation of winds at various levels of the atmosphere favor the formation of numerous clouds over the South-East Region. There are conditions for rain in all states.
Only central-southern Sao Paulo is out of the risk of some rain. The sun appears among many clouds in the region. Central-west Sao Paulo is sunny most of the day, but there is a chance of short-term rain. In the eastern part of São Paulo there are periods with sun and light rain in the afternoon.
In the Zona da Mata Mineira and in the mining region of Vale do Rio Doce the sun appears through many clouds and it should rain a little in the afternoon and in the evening.
On the coast of São Paulo, in the state of Rio de Janeiro and in Espírito Santo, the sun comes out through many clouds and it can still rain at any time.
In the north and northwest of São Paulo and other regions of Minas Gerais (including Grande Belo Horizonte), daytime sunshine is sunny, with increasing cloud cover and showers in the afternoon and evening. Even in the northwest of Minas Gerais it could rain in the morning
Midwest region
Warm, moist air is still present over the Midwest, allowing for storm clouds to form.
The climate is dry and sunny all day right on the border of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul with Bolivia.
In the east of Goiás and in the Federal District there are several rain showers with lightning, at any hour, but with sunny periods. It can rain heavily. Even in the south of Mato Grosso do Sul it can rain at any time, but with little intensity.
In the other areas of Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás and Mato Grosso the sun appears for most of the day, it’s hot and rains and lightning are forecast which could occur in the afternoon and at night. The rain will be limited and short-lived.
Northeast Region
A cold front is moving away from the coasts of Bahia, but areas of instability are still growing on the state.
The Baiana coast has showers at any time and sunny periods. In the interior of Bahia (except in the central-north of the state), in the south of Maranhão and Piauí the sun appears for most of the day, but showers with lightning are expected, especially in the afternoon and at night.
On the coastal strip from Sergipe to Rio Grande do Norte, inland and on the coast of Ceará, transient showers are expected and the sun appears for most of the day. In the rest of the Northeast, the sun and dry climate prevail.
North Region
Humid and warm air prevails over the northern region and thunderclouds grow over most of the region. The sun appears most of the day and it is hot throughout the region.
Rain showers with lightning occur mainly in the afternoon and at night in almost all of northern Brazil.
It should not rain in Amapá, west and north of Pará, central-south and east of Amazonas, central and east of Acre. It shouldn’t rain in the capitals Belém and Macapá.

Beware of moderate to heavy rains and lightning in northern São Paulo, central São Paulo, north-central Rio de Janeiro state (includes mountainous region), south-central Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, except southern Minas and valley of Jequitinhonha, south/southwest and west of Bahia, in Tocantins (except in the extreme north of the state), in Goiás, in Mato Grosso (except in the south and on the border with Bolivia), in the northeast of Mato Grosso do Sul and west of the Amazon.
Frost warning early in the morning in the highest areas of the Serra Gaúcha and Santa Catarina.
Beware of moderate rains on the coast of Paraíba, in the south of Bahia, north of Espírito Santo and in the Jequitinhonha Valley (MG)
Beware of dry air, with humidity levels between 21% and 30% inland in the Northeast.
