Marvel Studios has released a new “featurette” – or trailers focused on one or more characters – of “The Marvels”, whose premiere is scheduled for November 9th. The video helps you understand (or remember) who is who in the new Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film.
The “featurette” focuses on the three main characters of “As Marvel”: Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and Kamala Khan/Ms. Wonder (Iman Vellani). In just over two minutes, you can get an idea of where they’re coming from and where they’re going in the new MCU movie.

Who’s Who in “The Marvels”
For starters, it’s good to know where each of the three debuted in the MCU.
A marvel of the captain she appeared in her own film of the same name, released in 2019, which also shows Monica Rambeau as a child: she is the daughter of Maria Rambeau (Lasagna Lynch), Carol’s partner in the film. As for the appearance of adult Monica, it happened in “Wanda Vision”, miniseries to be released in 2021. Finally, Kamala has arrived, in the miniseries “Mrs. Marvel”, from 2022. You can watch all these titles on Disney+ (in the case of “Captain Marvel”, you can also check out the IMAX version).
Below is the official synopsis of the film:
Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, reclaimed her identity from the Kree tyranny and exacted vengeance on the Supreme Intelligence. However, some unintended consequences force Carol to shoulder the weight of a destabilized universe. When her homework takes Carol into an anomalous space rift tied to a Kree revolutionary, her powers intertwine with those of Jersey City superfan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s niece, current SABER astronaut, Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio will have to band together and learn to work together to save the universe as “The Marvels.”
The feature film is directed by Nia DaCosta, who directed “A Lenda de Candyman” and “Passando dos Limites”. In addition to the three actresses already mentioned, the cast also includes Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Ben Mendelsohn (Talos) and Park Ser-joon (Yan D’Aladna). Given Fury’s return to the big screen, it’s nice to know what went down in “Secret invasion“, series presented for the first time in 2023.
