Director Chad Stahelski has spoken about the possibility that the saga of John Wick, played by Keanu Reeves, win a fifth chapter. Stahelski has directed all four films in the franchise of the same name and commented on a sequel on the podcast Happy Sad Confused (the chat is in English).

For starters: yes, the director has confirmed that John Wick 5 will happen. And, from what the director has said, Reeves is very excited about the fifth film in the series. Even without the two having the slightest idea of which direction Wick’s story will take. Both have “too many concepts” in mind, according to Stahelski.

The director said in the podcast that he and Reeves have already talked about the sequel — and that the actor would be OK with participating in the fifth installment of the series. Stahelski added that both already have ideas for action scenes.

However, the director was candid on one important point when thinking about a film: “it [Keanu Reeves] I also have to admit that I still have no idea what the story of the film would be.”
