The Exorcist: The Devout has a terrifying new trailer; I wait

Universal Pictures released another trailer for Tuesday (5). adaptation of the 1973 horror classic. Directed by David Gordon Green, the reboot will begin a trilogy, with its first part hitting Brazilian theaters on October 12.

will tell the story of Victor Fielding (Leslie Odom Jr.), father of a child possessed by a demonic entity. Desperate, the protagonist seeks help from Chris MacNeil (Ellen Burstyn), who many years ago fought for the soul of his daughter Regan (Linda Blair).

Produced by Universal Pictures in collaboration with Blumhouse, the feature film arrives in Brazil on a different date than in the United States. In the country, the premiere was brought forward so that it would not coincide with the film The Tour of the Ages by Taylor Swift. Find out more here!

The exorcist is the highest-grossing horror film of all time. With 10 Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture — being the first of its kind to receive nominations in the category — the film has four more sequels, as well as a series adaptation released in 2016.
