After two successful seasons, Jonathan Cohen and his iconic character Mark may soon return for new adventures after La Flamme and Le Flambeau! Appearing on RTL Bonsoir on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, the actor and director indeed revealed that they are preparing the final Bory return to our screens…
Mark is back for new adventures
Prior to making this statement, the actor was first confronted by Pierre Nin through an audio message and a question. Let’s remind you that the latter in La Flamme and Le Flambeau portrays Dr. Giuff, who is none other than Mark’s completely sly shrek…
Humorously, the therapist’s interpreter addressed his colleague as follows: “I just had a quick question for you. Are you going to bring Dr. Ziff and Mark back? Because I think they need a few more sessions to really go through the therapeutic process. Can these two ever see each other again?“
Jonathan Cohen confirms he is working on a sequel
In an ironic tone, Jonathan Cohen stated that he immediately recognized Frank Gastambide behind this voice note! On a more serious note then, the main stakeholder confirmed that he was indeed working on a sequel to his fiction.
“That’s news! We’re working on something, obviously (…) we found the band a little bit… don’t lie to you, I was at the meeting earlier. So, yes, we’re working on it!“, he assured the listeners.
Which cast members will return?

Where can we find Mark regarding his future return? Mystery… will it be a multi-episode Season 3 or will this reunion be told in a different way? The secret is there too… One thing is for sure: Jonathan Cohen and Pierre Nin must be there!
For her part, Anna Girardot, who played Anna (Mark’s whipping boy in both seasons) in any case revealed on the AlloCiné microphone that she wanted to reprise the role of the character who was mistreated by the fake bachelor (then the fake adventurer)… the call began!
