In less than ten years, the John Wick franchise has established itself as an essential element of the seventh art, introducing four acclaimed feature films to the world. In this way, the North American streaming platform Peacock has been actively working on creating a series of spin-offs, and one of them is already set to debut.
On September 22, The Continental, a series derived from the mythology of Wick, will arrive in Brazil via Prime Video. With big Hollywood names in the cast (Colin Woodell, Mel Gibson, Peter Greene), however, one important face should not be present: Keanu Reeves.
WHY SHOULD KEANU REEVES NOT APPEAR IN CONTINENTAL?

For the uninitiated, The Continental will be a prelude to the main universe. In it we will follow the beginnings of the operation of the Hotel Continental, a fundamental part of the saga. Told from the point of view of a young Winston Scott, we will then be introduced to the character’s life in the underworld of 1970s New York, where Winston will have to face the demons of the past to ascend in the local hierarchy.
