Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Friday, September 8, 2023 [SPOILERS]

Tom and Yanis are in danger

Virgil has been thinking all night and thinks he has found a solution. In fact, he wants to wait for the sailboat to be returned and tell the police that a friend borrowed it from him. However, Tom is concerned and fears that Virgil is unaware of the danger. The latter then confides in him that he had a different life before renting boats and that bad guys don’t scare him. He then grabs the gun hidden behind the seat.

The investigation into the disappearance of Virgil’s boat is stopped at the police station. Moreover, Ian filed a report with Interpol in hopes of finding him. However, he begins to suspect and fear that this is an insurance scam. An opinion not shared by Captain Leon, who reminds him that he was with Virgil during the events. Therefore, he advises to be careful in what he says, because it can be taken badly.

Not far from there, the Spanish coast guard found Virgil’s boat in the bay with 300,000 euros in it. Two men were arrested and Virgilius will be summoned again.

At the end of the day, Yannis joins Obert, his boss. His lawyer reported the situation, he is sure it is no accident that Virgil’s boat was reported to the police. According to him, only Tom and Yanis knew about the situation. Therefore, Obert believes that they know too much. That’s why he hands over the gun to Yanis and instructs him to kill them…

Eve brings the whole truth to Sabine

On the advice of her companion, Eva goes to the school and asks Sabine to speak privately. Without beating around the bush, the French teacher explains to her that Dimitri cheated on her with Aline Declos. He then explains to her that he only started this house project to clear his conscience. If Sabina blames the hit, she is especially disappointed when she discovers that her friend and father knew about the betrayal of the man she loved for several weeks.

He angrily calls Dimitri and tells him that everything between them is over. The latter tries to ask to see him to talk, but Sabine refuses before hanging up on him. At worst, Dimitri confides in Leonore, who tries to comfort him, confident that Sabina will eventually forgive him. Only Dimitri has doubts.

Sabine, on the other hand, comes to Claudine’s office and wastes no time in insulting her. But she doesn’t stop there and accuses her mother of lying to Dimitri instead of telling the truth. For Sabine, her mother never appreciated her. And he is sure that if he was attacked, he would defend the attacker. Minimizing the situation, Claudine even goes so far as to ask her daughter to see someone. The final straw for Sabine, who ends up punching him before leaving the place, telling him he never wants to see her again.

Immediately afterwards, Claudine calls Clement and informs him that their daughter knows about Dimitri’s betrayal. So she advises him to prepare for his visit.

Becker goes to meet his daughter and asks for an explanation. Although she refuses to listen to him, he points out that she hid the truth from him because she seemed happy with him. So it wasn’t up to him to destroy the story. With tears in her eyes, Sabine reminds him that it was her role to protect him from the man who is cheating on her. As he admits his mistake, Becker adds that he sincerely regrets it, and then points out that he always tried to do what was best for him. When he asks her to forgive him, Sabine replies that it will take time…
