In World War II, Captain John Miller must return to the front to save a soldier whose three brothers were killed in combat. 4 – Titanic (1997)

The biggest box office film of the ’90s and the fourth biggest in cinematic history needs no other credentials to make this list. Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a young adventurer who wins a ticket on the first voyage of the Titanic. On board is Rose DeWitt Bukater (Kate Winslet), girlfriend of Caledon Hockley (Billy Zane).

But she is not satisfied with her life, as she feels suffocated by the elite and does not love her boyfriend. One day Rose threatens to jump from the Titanic, but Jack manages to save her. 5. The Matrix (1987)

This sci-fi movie turned the topic of computers into something really pop. The Matrix brought extraordinary visual effects, what would be the embryo of what we are used to today. The film won many awards for this reason. Thomas Anderson (Keanu Reaves) is a programmer and is going through terrible nightmares in which he is connected by cables to a huge computer system of the future. The dreams repeat themselves and he begins to think that reality is not what it seems. Then he meets Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) and Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss), when he realizes he is a victim of the Matrix. The screenplay and direction are by sisters Lana and Lilly Wachowski. 6. Waiting for a Miracle (1999)

Directed and written by Frank Darabont, this film is based on Stephen King’s 1996 book of the same name. The prisoner behaves like a child, naive and fearful, even though he is an extremely strong black man. Accused of the double murder of two little sisters, he forms a relationship with Paul, who soon notices something special and extraordinary in him. 7. The Lion King (1994)

Disney’s The Lion King, directed by Jon Favreau, tells an adventure in the African savannah, where Simba (Matthew Broderick), the future king of Pride Rock, is born. Simba’s evil uncle Oscar plots to steal Mufasa’s throne by luring father and son into an ambush. Simba manages to escape and only Mufasa dies, who will then have to decide what he will do with his life. 8 – The Sixth Sense (1999)

Child psychologist Malcolm Crowe (Bruce Willis) decides to work with dedication on the case of Cole Sear (Haley Joel Osment). He is a child of just 8 years old who has difficulty getting along at school and who lives paralyzed by fear, many people don’t understand why. Malcolm also goes through problems and tries to recover from a trauma he suffered years earlier, when one of his patients committed suicide in his presence. Oscar winner in the categories: Best Film. Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks) has a certain mental slowness, but with the help of his mother he has managed to move forward with his life. Whether on the football field as a sports star, as a fighter in Vietnam or as the captain of a fishing vessel, Forrest goes through life inspiring everyone with his optimism. But the person Forrest loves most may be the hardest to save: his childhood sweetheart, the sweet and tormented Jenny (Robin Wright). 10 – The Blair Witch – (1999)

Blair Witch is a film directed by Adam Wingard with Brandon Scott, Callie Hernandez and a screenplay by Simon Barrett. It’s a film that pretends it’s real, and that’s what it is, which is why it raises questions about its authenticity. in fact it is not real. This type of script caused a lot of repercussions at the time, which elevated the film to an interesting level within horror films.

Three film students end up deep in the woods of Maryland. The goal is to make a documentary about the legend of the Blair Witch and they mysteriously disappear. A year later, a bag full of film reels and video cassettes is found in the woods. The images recorded by the trio give some clues to their macabre fate, hence the impression that the film is real, which makes everything scary.
