American woman thinks she’s Salma Hayek in A Night in Hell and attacks her partner

During a blind date in a hotel, 23-year-old Nika Nikubin was found guilty of stabbing her partner during sex. She told the New York Post (via Yahoo ) that she thought she was Salma Hayek’s character in One Night in Hell, Robert Rodriguez’s 1996 film starring George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino.

I was in a very manic state. I looked in the mirror and thought, “This actress is sexy.” I thought I was Salma Hayek from One Night in Hell, and I hallucinated that there was a snake on my shoulders.

Although his motive was initially revenge for the US drone strike that killed an Iranian commander, Nika Nikubin now claims that he was hallucinating in the middle of the attack and that he only mentioned it because he thought he was acting in an episode.
