The Serbian Novak Djokovic won the title for the fourth time this Sunday in New York US Opendefeating the Russian Daniel Medvedevfor 3 sets to 0, with scores of 6/3, 7/6 (7/5) and 6/3, in 3h17 of play.
Ranked first in the world rankings, Djokovic, in his tenth final in New York, won his 24th Slam title, equaling the record of the legendary Margherita Corte.
Djokovic managed to break serve at the first opportunity and took a 2/0 lead. He then confirmed his serve for 3/0 and held the lead until the end.
