The Boys: Will Other Spin-Offs Be the Best Superhero Series?

What is the future of The Boys series world? While Season 4 has been filmed and the first spin-off, titled Gen V, is expected on Prime Video on September 29, other projects may see the light of day. In any case, here’s what Vernon Sanders, Amazon’s director of television programming, has to say:

I will tell you this: Eric KripkeThe creator of the series has had a shared vision for years now, and we’re constantly talking about what’s next. (…) If Eric is interested in continuing the story, we will be the first to work with him. Now we’re focusing on Gen V and the incredible Season 4 of The Boys, which I think will knock fans off their seats.

In the rest of his statement, Vernon Sanders specifies that we should wait until we get a Gen V spin-off before we can really think about other reasons. The director presents the project as a series between the Hunger Games and a conspiracy that takes place at the university. With all the heart, satire and profanity of The Boys.

The story of General V takes place within the confines of Godolkin University, an institution whose purpose is to train the next generation of superheroes. No wonder the school is in danger. Students will quickly have to put aside their competitive spirit and their hormones to take care of it.

The cast includes Jazz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizzie Broadway, Shelley Cohn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa German, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas and Marco Pigos.
