Virgil hides Tom to protect him
In the parking lot, Virgil finds Tom, who panics and tells him that Stan has been killed. The teenager is terrified, thinking he will be next on the list. Virgil promises him that nothing will happen and decides to hide the tome in a secluded place. At the same time, Yannis is circling the boats at the marina, looking for Tom, but to no avail.
At Virgil’s hideout, Tom calls his mother and says he was sleeping over at a friend’s house. He adds that he will stay there for a few days to prepare the presentation. After the call ends, Virgilio explains to his young protégé that from now on he will have to be careful and that he cannot call anyone again. She reminds him of what happened to Stan and asks him to behave. To reassure Tom, Virgil vows to find a way to deal with Iannis and his men. But for that he needs information and asks Tom to remember details that will help them.
Manu and Thierry praise Becker for Stan’s death. They searched his house and found a large quantity of Buddha Blue. They think Stan was the dealer for the young dead teenager and also the dealer for Flaubert High School.
Yannis finds Obert, his boss, and informs him that he thinks Virgil is hiding Tom somewhere. Obert pressures Janis and orders him to track down Virgil and get rid of Tom as quickly as possible.
Emma goes to her mother’s house to hear some news. She suggests that the three of them do something with Tom to celebrate his return, but is disappointed to learn that Tom is staying with a friend for a few days. On her way to the kitchen, Emma finds scratch tickets in the trash can. Natalie first insists that it’s old scratches, before admitting that she’s still playing a bit. Emma is worried. He tells his mother that he is sick and will never change, then leaves. Natalie burst into tears.
Back at the Savages, Emma reveals to Victor that her mother has fallen again. Victor tries to calm him down by saying that drug addiction is a difficult disease to cure. Emma fears that Tom will start acting stupid again if their mother sinks again. She is surprised that her brother has not told her about her mother’s relapse and thinks that he is covering for her. She is determined not to let him go.
At the police station, Manu scrutinizes Stan’s call list. He finds that Tom’s number comes up several times. Manu then goes to confront Virgil without waiting. He established a bond between Stan, Tom, and Buddha’s blue trade in high school. But Virgil pretends not to understand and knows nothing. Annoyed, Manu assures his friend that if he protects Tom, he won’t do anything to him. But Virgil stands his ground and promises that Tom has nothing to do with all of this.
