10 police reports were found against Aécio Pereira relating to theft, verbal aggression, religious intolerance and homophobia
The first person convicted by the Federal Court (STF) for the January 8 coups Aécio Pereira, has a troubled history of cohabitation in the eight years in which he was the administrator of a condominium in Diadema, in Greater São Paulo. A report shown by Fantástico, from TVGlobothe night of this Sunday, the 17th, proved it At least 10 police reports have been opened against Aécio in this period.
Without identifying herself, a former leader of the administration preceding Aécio’s, told the broadcaster that she was constantly threatened by him. “She walked by and said ‘I’ll finish you,'” she says. According to the tenant, who lived on the floor above Aécio, she had supporters in the building while the other residents felt scared of him. The woman filed a complaint for insult, slander, defamation and disturbing the peace.
Another incident report analyzed by the program showed another resident’s report. This time there is a theft report. According to the woman, Aécio took her cell phone from her hand and did not return it. She also describes being called “crazy,” among other insults. “Fussy, weird job, bad believer! You’ll get what you’re looking for!”
Another resident, the only one who wanted to identify himself, Vando Estrela, was called “bichona” several times by Aécio. The two were even friends, but the political differences had gone too far and Vando filed a complaint against him for homophobia.

Aécio Lúcio Costa Pereira was the first Bolsonarist convicted by the STF for the January 8 coups. The trial took place on Thursday the 14th, then two other defendants were convicted.
The sentence defined for Aécio was 17 years – 15 years and six months of imprisonment in a first closed regime and, subsequently, another year and six months of detention in an open regime -, in addition to a fine of approximately 44 thousand Brazilian reals. The sentence refers to five crimes:
- abolition of the democratic rule of law;
- qualified damage;
- coup d’etat;
- degradation of the protected heritage.
