Loki: Season 2 arrives (slightly) earlier than expected on Disney+

Initially, the second season of Marvel’s “Loki” was scheduled to premiere on October 6, with new episodes arriving in the catalog every Friday (those series with weekly episodes). But Disney Streaming announced this week that the new season will premiere one day earlier: October 5, at 10pm – and new episodes will arrive every Thursday, at the same time.

The premiere times of new episodes are good news for Brazilian fans. This is because it will be easier to fit them into your routine: you can watch them before going to bed and avoid receiving spoilers on social media the next day or having to stay up until dawn to watch the new episode.

Shortly after announcing the series’ new premiere date, Marvel released a video with a behind-the-scenes look at the production. It features testimonials from the cast and writer, as well as highlighting some new features from season two. Among these are new characters, Loki’s attitudes and the focus on an “unexplored corner” of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The duo Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson (Moon Knight) directed the episodes of the new season of “Loki”. The screenplay was written by Michael Waldron (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness), creator of the series.

As for the cast, Tom Hiddleston and Sophia Di Martino return to the roles of Loki and Sylvie respectively – as do Jonathan Majors (Kang) and Owen Wilson (Mobius). Among the new faces of the second season are Ke Huy Quan (Everything is everywhere at the same time), Kate Dickie (The Witch) and Rafael Casal (Ponto Cego).
