Disney+: Our tutorial for turning off autoplay (very helpful for parents!)

Autoplay is a way for streaming platforms to give you more and more views. This is the concept of binge watching and the reason they (most often) put the entire season online. Is your episode ending? The next one will start without even pressing the remote control.

It is practical when said remote control is far away or your child has hidden it somewhere in the corner of the house. But it’s a little less so when your little one is allowed to watch TV and episodes of Paw Patrol pop up without you even realizing (which is why the parental control feature is handy too!). But don’t worry, you can disable this feature in a few clicks.

To get started, you need to click on your profile in the upper right corner, then click on “Edit Profiles”. You choose which one you want to configure.

On the next page, you can turn off autoplay. When finished, click FINISH on the top left. Then again on the next page. Done!

So, with a few clicks, you’ve turned off autoplay on Disney+. You will be able to use the last credits without running another program. And you’ll actually be able to control the number of cartoon episodes your offspring watch.
