Georges sets a trap for Vanessa, but Bart intervenes

George was arrested on charges of obstructing the criminal investigation. Handcuffed, he will appear before a judge who will decide on his possible pretrial detention. Since the car still hasn’t arrived, Sarah decides to wait in the hallway of the police station. Georges, not accepting his fate, takes advantage of a colleague’s back to steal a gun.

While he refuses to let her go, a cop fires a shot into the police station and orders him to remove the handcuffs and then give him the car keys. After he points a gun at her heart, Sarah has no choice but to obey. After collecting the car keys, Georges orders everyone present to get down on their knees before escaping. What he doesn’t know is that someone filmed the entire scene.

For her part, Vanessa tries to contact Georges on Simon’s cell phone, but to no avail. He then checks the lawyer’s messages and comes across a video of George losing his temper. Seeing this escape as true proof of love, Vanessa is already planning to run away with him so they can raise their child together. Simon will be tracked down by the entire police force in France and eventually arrested. That is why he urges his client to surrender. He even promises to plead in her favor so that she can enter a psychiatric ward. As for the baby, Simon promises that he will do everything to give him a normal life. Although time is running out, Vanessa takes time to think.

Meanwhile, Bart, Mona, and Victoire watch a video of Georges. If Mona is in shock, Bart is angry. Needless to say, Spoon’s manager thinks the cop has been taunting them for months, and he’s still in love with Vanessa. According to him, George is a scoundrel who deserves to die in prison like Vanessa.

Enraged, Bart then goes to the police station and blames the police, and more specifically Sarah, for letting George escape. As he makes a scene, Nordin invites him to go home or he’ll end the night in the pit. Before leaving, Bart notices a post on the investigation wall.

Not far from there, Soizic and Francois are getting ready to go to the hospital for some tests when they run into Charlie. Back to the wall, the French teacher confesses the whole truth to his partner. A hard blow for Charlie, who is struggling to cope with the news. Although Francois claims that he only did it to protect her, the young woman sees first of all that the man she loves will never trust her. François apologizes to her, but the damage is done. Charlie regrets seeing him again as a child who cannot handle crises.

A few kilometers away, Georges and Vanessa find themselves in the forest. After exchanging a passionate kiss, Vanessa assures them that the baby is fine. He then promises that the three of them will be happy. To prove that he trusts him, Georges puts away his gun.

Georges and Vanessa are enjoying this sunny afternoon, unaware that Sarah and Aurora are watching them from afar. And suffice it to say, Aurore is thrilled that Georges wasn’t lying. Indeed, Avore, Sarah and Georges stage a fake escape in hopes of stopping the serial killer.

Although the plan was thought out to the smallest detail, Vanessa still feels the microphone hidden under George’s shirt. With tears in her eyes, she declares that she forgives him, and then adds that she will do anything for the sake of the child. But as he prepares to surrender, Bart arrives and grabs George’s gun, which he points at Lewis, who killed…
