After the CDC (Center for Disease Control) explosion in Atlanta at the end of the first season, a group of survivors led by Rick hit the road again in hopes of finding a refugee camp. But traps soon arise and our heroes quickly find themselves stuck on the freeway due to a car pile-up, a forced stop that is soon followed by an attack by a horde of zombies.
And the problems don’t end there, because on the one hand little Sofia runs into the forest, but also Carl, Rick’s son, who takes a bullet from a hunter. While desperately searching for help, the group stumbles upon the Greene family farm, which will become the main setting for the following episodes.
One of the main storylines also involves the trio of Rick, his wife Lori, and Shane, Rick’s former teammate who had an affair with his wife after her accident that left her in a coma. A situation that will increase in tension when Lori reveals her pregnancy, but also when Shane becomes more and more violent and aggressive, until the two men face each other in a duel to the death.
