‘These movies ruined Keanu Reeves’: Actor asked to be killed in John Wick 4

In a recent interview with Collider (via ComingSoon ), John Wick franchise producer Basil Iwanyk revealed that Keanu Reeves wanted his character killed off “for good” in John Wick: Chapter 4 .

After movies 2, 3 and 4, making these movies is so exhausting and drains Keanu physically and emotionally. In the end, he always says, “I can’t do this anymore,” and we agree with him. The boy is only a shadow of his former self as he goes on and on. He said, “I definitely want to be killed at the end of this movie.” We said, “You know, we’re going to leave a little opening of 10%.”
